Bulawayo Residents Petition Town Clerk on Venue for Election of Mayor

Over 100 Bulawayo residents today (31 August 2018) had turned up for the swearing in of the councilors and most did not witness the proceedings as the space at the Council chambers only accommodates about 15 people.

Some activists quickly drafted a petition that was signed by the residents and handed over to the office of the town clerk demanding that on Tuesday 04 September 2018 the election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor be done at the City Hall.
