Bulawayo Councilors should resign for failing to supply right to water

It is now clear that City of Bulawayo Councilors have no solution to the current water problems in the City. Instead of a dressing the right to water problem they are busy playing politics and doing things unprocedurally. If the Town Clerk has failed the councilors should have followed due procedure.
As MIHR we therefore say:

1. For failing to provide residents with water which is a basic human rights,
2. For failing to follow procedure in suspending the Town Clerk,
3. We therefore call for the emediate resignation of ALL Bulawayo councilors.

We will be mobilizing for nonviolent protest actions until they resign or solve the water crisis.
