Youths from Entumbane and Mpopoma who were trained by MIHR in human rights and public participation have been instrumental in engaging their duty bearers on key development and service delivery concerns.
Due to the prevailing Covid19 pandemic, the youths have been using Whatsapp groups to hold their duty bearers to account and so far they have met with their Councilors, MPs and residents association chairs.
In Entumbane the youths are engaging on the construction of a youth centre, a library and public play centres. Whilst in Mpopoma they are engaging on the revival of youth centres and equipping them with modern technologies.
