Bulawayo Women and Children Bear Water Shortage Hardships

As the Bulawayo Water shortage situation is worsening, women and children are disproportionately affected as Bulawayo Water Action observed women and children fetching water at night.

This exposes the women and children to various forms of abuse and crime and also violates their fundamental rights and freedoms that include right to personal safety, right to education, and freedom to participate in social, economic and political activities among others.
