Residents of Bulawayo’s Sizinda suburb being organized by Bulawayo Water Action have submitted a 351 signature petition to the ward caretaker Councilor Mr Ruzive demanding action on water at the local level.
The petition was presented on Friday 16 October 2020 at Tshabalala housing office.
The councilor received the petition, pledged to act on the residents’ demands and also toured the ward.
BUWA is a social movement that is campaigning for access to water in Bulawayo and it is managed by MIHR.
