244 residents participated in the online public meeting and witnessed the handing in of the Bulawayo Residents submission paper to Bulawayo City Council Chairperson of the Future Water Supplies Committee Councilor Sikhululekile Moyo.
“I have received the submission today on the 7th of February and I promise that I will take the questions and concerns to my colleagues and i will come back to you with the responses as soon as possible” (Councilor S. Moyo speaking after receiving the submission paper.)
The Submission Paper contained 66 questions grouped under 9 subtopics that included billing and water meter reading; dams filling and maintenance; water quality; water shedding schedule; Bowsers and water kiosks; future water plans; general comments; suggestions.
